Father’s Day was celebrated with so much love at Hampton School 💚💛

Across our Quatre Bornes and Curepipe campuses, pupils created beautiful handmade crafts and thoughtful little gifts for their fathers, grandfathers, guardians and father figures.

These simple classroom activities carried an important message. Learning is not only about books, lessons and examinations. It is also about gratitude, creativity, kindness and learning how to express love for the people who care for us.

Our pupils were very proud of what they made. Each card, drawing and gift was prepared with care, giving them a lovely opportunity to pause and say thank you in their own special way.

At Hampton School Mauritius, we believe these moments matter. They help children grow not only academically, but emotionally too.

We wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads and father figures in our Hampton family. Thank you for the love, patience and encouragement you give every day.

Our Pre-Primary and Primary pupils enjoyed a special educational visit to the Metro Express depot 🚆

During the visit, pupils were given a guided tour and had the opportunity to see the metro train up close. They learned more about how the Metro Express works, how passengers travel safely, and the important role public transport plays in Mauritius.

For our younger pupils, it was an exciting chance to connect classroom learning with the real world. They were curious, enthusiastic and full of questions throughout the visit.

At Hampton School Mauritius, we believe that children learn best when they are given meaningful experiences beyond the classroom. Educational field trips such as this help pupils observe, ask questions and understand the world around them in a practical and memorable way.

Hampton School was delighted to welcome India in Mauritius, the High Commission of India in Port Louis, and IGCIC - ICCR in Mauritius for special yoga sessions held as part of the celebrations leading up to the 12th International Day of Yoga 🧘

The sessions took place at our Curepipe campus on 8th June 2026 and our Quatre Bornes campus on 11th June 2026, with more than 200 pupils taking part across both schools.

Our pupils were introduced to simple yoga practices designed to support physical fitness, flexibility, balance, concentration and overall well-being. The sessions included fun movement activities, balancing exercises and age-appropriate yoga practices, which kept the children engaged and excited throughout 💚

At our Curepipe campus, the session was led by Ms. Tanya Gupta, Teacher of Indian Culture and Yoga at IGCIC. Pupils were organised into different groups to ensure the activities were suitable for their ages.

At Hampton School Mauritius, we believe children benefit from experiences that support both the body and the mind. This special yoga initiative gave our pupils a meaningful opportunity to learn about wellness, focus and healthy habits in an enjoyable and practical way.
